Those in-the- know would tell you she’s a top rated leadership coach, business consultant and motivational speaker. Laura’s passion lies at the intersection of leadership development and business strategy. Her story? She survived a quarter life crisis by making friends with fear, left her corporate HR job (after 14 years) and set out to make an impact in the world using her heart as her compass. She is an InBusiness Magazine “40 Under 40”, honored for her business savvy and civic contributions, a BRAVA magazine 2018 Woman to Watch and an Athena Young Professional Award nominee. Erin has more than 20 years of exemplary client service, and full life cycle human resources experience in support of the defense consulting industry.  She combines her ability to critically think, provide leadership and find creative solutions to assist her clients in filling critical positions. She works with executive management to provide a strategic and integrated approach gain a competitive advantage.

As the daughter of a veteran, she naturally fell into a role where she was able to dedicate her career assisting veterans with their career needs. She has also volunteered her time assisting homeless veterans by providing career counseling, job placement and resume writing.

Ms. Emery will graduate with a Master’s in Business Administration from Purdue University Global in December 2018 and holds a B.A. in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.  Ms. Emery is also a license Realtor in the state Maryland.  Originally from Massachusetts, she has called Southern Maryland home for over 20 years. She is the proud mother of two teenage boys and believes that good time management is imperative to being successful in her business and personal life.
